WHAT'S YOUR PHOBIA(S)?

I was thinking about a best friend the other day who I knew back in the 80's . It was a full moon that night, which is why I was thinking of her...but I'll explain that later. Anyway, she wasn't even 50 years old when she died of cancer, and I still miss her. She loved a fulll moon, so anytime I see a full moon I always acknowledge her with a "Hi Bryan"...

But the reason I'm writing about her is that she had so many phobias... one was she couldn't cross over bridges, and she said she always felt that if someone jumped off a bridge to their death, it wasn't necessarily that they wanted to die...they just wanted to get off the bridge. Sounds so simple doesn't it.

Anyway, it got me to thinking about phobias. If I have/had one, it would be that I hated to be chased. I would stop and just stand there and wait for the person to catch up with me, cause the fear of them catching me was overwhelming. Not so simple, but I know what I mean...and besides, I don't have to worry about that anymore because I have no reason to run now, thus no one would be chasing me. I hope!

So... my question is: Do you have any phobias? Tell us about them.

I fear hard-drive crashing. Don't know if it's reached phobiaville yet but it's sure close!

LOTS of phobias ... I am scared of flying (though I love to travel), of roller coasters, of large groups of worms, of drowning (I can't swim) ... the list is long. ;)

I love being on the water, near the water, etc. LOVE it, but I have an unexplainable phobia of being in it. Not a fear, a PHOBIA.

Makes me wonder if the thing about past lives and something happening in one to create that is true. Would explain it.

Good question meb. I'll have to think about it. There are many things I don't like to do and thing I fear, but I'll have to think about a phobia level. I have never heard of fear of being chased, but it makes sense the way you tell it.

There are several things that scare the crap out of me, LOL. But I think my biggest fear is choking. When my girls were babies I was totally paranoid about them choking.
